ERIC SANDWEISS

History

Eric Sandweiss is Carmony Professor and Chair of the Department of History and Adjunct Professor of Folklore and Ethnomusicology at Indiana University Bloomington. He is also the editor of the Indiana Magazine of History. Prior to his position at IU, he served as the Director of Research at the Missouri Historical Society for ten years. Notable achievements include a UK Fulbright Distinguished Scholar Award and a Smithsonian Fellowship in Museum Practice. He is the author of St. Louis: The Evolution of an American Urban Landscape.
